English Translation
I woke up early in the morning at 4:23 AM and played Duolingo. Then I realized I had forgotten to set my alarm, so I thought, "Ah, I almost got late today," haha.
My job was removing small intestines. Steven came to work at our station today; his usual job is cutting the bible (omasum) directly using something like a saw, rather than feeding it into a slicing machine.
During our first lunch break, my friend and I ate chicken legs. He brought chicken sauce and rice, so it was a great meal, but we didn't have enough time to finish eating. As a result, I was late getting back to the workstation.
Regardless of my being late, it was actually Steven's first time handling the sub-position work. He started off slow, but he gradually picked up the pace step by step. Just as he almost caught up to my speed, the shift ended.
During the second break, my friend recommended a construction job (day labor) to me. It’s not steady work, but you can work long hours. My main concern was that I need to save at least $3,000 a month, but he believes it's possible with that job, so I'm going to look into it.
Then we went back to work. I recently realized that the floor boy's job intensity is just brutal... Intestines and stomachs keep dropping onto the floor continuously, so he is always busy cleaning and organizing them.
Whenever I got thirsty, I used to drink water straight from the work hose because the water is ice-cold and plentiful, which completely quenched my thirst. However, the supervisor hates it when we use the hose.
My coworker Apete played a prank on me. He suddenly shouted "Bonny!", which startled me because his voice sounded just like Michael's, haha.
Anyway, work finished, and I sharpened my knife. My friend brought another thin knife of mine because he wanted to test and compare his sharpening stone.
After finishing, I took off my work uniform. On my way out, I met a Korean guy who used to be a nurse in Korea. He is moving to a new role to work as a superintendent, and he gave me some warm words of encouragement.
