(Natural Style)

I woke up really early today. I think I only slept for about 4 hours. I did my Duolingo, moved my remaining items, and headed to a new city! It was a 3-hour drive.
I felt so sleepy while driving that I almost got into an accident. So, I pulled over and took a 30-minute nap. I arrived at the factory 30 minutes earlier than the scheduled time. I met the interviewer, and she asked me some simple questions.
Then I went for my medical test. While waiting, I watched some Taiwanese friends take their tests. The medical exam consisted of three parts: hearing, drug & alcohol, and a physical test.
First was the hearing test. I wore headphones and pressed a switch whenever I heard a sound. Second was the drug & alcohol test, which was very simple. I used a drug kit, swiped it on my tongue, and waited 5 minutes for the reaction.
The last one was the physical test. I mimicked the movements of the Indian examiner. I also had to lift a weighted box (maybe 10-20kg?), carry it over there, and come back. Then came the grip strength test. My grip is usually around 44-46, but I improved it to 49 today! I took the test twice for each hand. My right hand was around (49, 45, 41) and my left was (44, 38, 41).
After finishing, I moved on and chatted a bit with the Taiwanese friends. The results will be sent tomorrow. I arrived at the new house, but the owner wasn't supposed to be there until 5 PM. So, I went to a central shopping mall. I bought a cooling fan and went back to wait for him.
The owner arrived, and while he was printing the contract, I moved my luggage. A big plus for this new house is that it has a lot of storage space. Once I finished moving, I signed the contract and listened to the house rules. Then I organized and cleaned my room.
I put together the fan I bought for only $9. Since it was so cheap, the blades were plastic. I was a bit worried, but it turned out to be quite cool! I had some ramen and finally took a rest.

(Refining your English)

  • "I almost had an accident": 'Come close to'도 좋지만 'almost had'가 더 직관적이에요.
  • "Mimicked the examiner's movements": '검사관의 동작을 따라 하다'라고 할 때 'Mimic' 혹은 'Follow the motions'를 쓰면 자연스럽습니다.
  • "Personal best": 악력 기록을 경신했을 때 'I hit my personal best'라고 하면 "나의 최고 기록을 찍었다"는 뜻이 됩니다.
  • "Storage space":
